This well built post and beam home and guest cottage were constructed by New Energy Works. The main lodge offers 3 bedrooms, a loft, a work out area, and great room with stone fireplace. There are many places to enjoy the view, the open deck on the front, the screened side porch or the covered entry. The guest cottage is one room divided by a massive stone woodburning fireplace. The pies de resistance is the porch over looking the water's edge. It has 180 degree views of Honnedaga Lake, one of the purest, spring fed lakes in the Adirondack Park. There are several trout species that are unique to this lake and the fishing is excellent. You must access this property by boat from the landing area at the other end of the lake, about 5 miles. However, the boat ride is part of the experience and affords unlimited privacy. The Adirondack League Club is composed of 50,000 acres of private property and membership in the Club is necessary to purchase property. All purchases must be in cash. There is a clubhouse called Forest Lodge that offers amenities for the owners; meals and beverages during the summer months, a food and supply store, recreation and gathering places, a tennis court, pickleball court and miles and miles of hiking trails. Members have the opportunity to recreate in all the other clubs and lakes within the Club. The owner has Starlink set up for internet.
