A 2018 timber inventory shows a timber volume of 1,272 MBF (6 MBF / acre) dominated by red maple, hemlock, white pine, and black cherry, and a considerable amount of veneer sugar maple (timber inventory available upon request). Little River Timberland’s superb location provides an avenue to a robust forest products market as well as ample recreation opportunities including fishing in Onedia Lake, Lake Ontario, or the area’s many stocked trout streams. Proximity to I-90 and I-81 provide connection to much of New York State. Syracuse and Utica are only a 40-minute drive, while Buffalo and Albany, New York as well as Pennsylvania and Canada can each be reached in under 3 hours.
